Iran China Business and Financing Co. (also known as “Iran-China Business Council” and later “Iran-China Joint Chamber of Commerce” is one of the primary trade coordinators and influencers concerning bilateral trade engagement between private and semi-governmental companies in the two country.

This institution was founded in 2001 by 65 influential Iranian traders. It was later renamed to the “Iran-China Chamber of Commerce” and is still known by this name today. To date, Iran’s trade exchanges with China have reached 20 billion dollars. Iran is a major partner of China in the export of oil, petroleum products, and minerals, valued at approximately 160 billion dollars.

The company is recognized as one of the key pillars in the development of trade relations between the two countries, playing an important role in facilitating commercial cooperation between Iran and China over the years. Given the economic and international sanctions, the Iran-China Chamber of Commerce has consistently been involved in challenges such as sanctions evasion and the potential exploitation of trade and economic opportunities.
