Telinsol Company, a key player in facilitating the Iran government’s electronic surveillance of Iranian protesters
The Islamic Republic utilizes all its resources to suppress protesters, including intensified censorship, restricting the internet, limiting access to messaging apps, and accessing the social media accounts of detained protesters.
One of the used tools is “SIAM.” SIAM is a computer system with about 40 spying features that operates within a layer of mobile networks in Iran.
This system was developed by the company ArianTel. According to leaked emails from 2022, the technology needed for the development of this system was provided through Telinsol.
Telinsol, founded by Nima Eskandari in the UK, provided surveillance software and technologies to the Islamic Republic, enabling them to track Iranian dissidents within Iran.
